SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A fallen tree blocked a portion of Veterans Boulevard in San Francisco Monday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The tree came down just before 1:30 p.m. on a white Ford Escort traveling southbound on State Route 1, referred to as Veterans Boulevard, just north of the MacArthur Tunnel in San Francisco’s Presidio District, CHP officials said.

As of 2 p.m., both southbound lanes were blocked by the tree as well as portions of the northbound lanes. The lanes have since reopened.

“It appears it was more of an inconvenience to everyone than anything,” CHP Officer Andrew Barclay said.

No one was injured in the accident, according to CHP.
