FAIRFIELD (KRON)—A Fairfield man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after police allegedly found marijuana, cocaine, prescription medication and a gun inside his car, according to police.

An officer spotted a suspicious car near Union Food and Liquor and was able to see drugs inside the car as he walked closer to it, police said.

The driver, who has been identified as 23-year-old Billy Breedlove, refused to open the door, but eventually unlocked it, according to police.

The officer found the drugs and gun inside the car.

Breedlove was arrested on suspicion of a possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of marijuana for sale, possession of a controlled substance while armed and possession of a loaded firearm with intent to commit a felony, according to police.

He was booked into the Solano County Jail and is being held on a $155,000 bail.
