Some mandatory evacuations orders have been reduced to warnings in Lake County as the Mendocino Complex fire rages Thursday morning.
The followings areas have been reduced to an evacuation warning:
Mid Mountain Road and Pine Avenue area of Potter Valley, north of Burris Lane, east of Eastside Potter Valley Road, west of the fire edge.
Thursday afternoon, officials ordered mandatory evacuations for the following areas in Western Lake County – West of Lucerne at Bartlett Springs Rd. and Highway 20, south of the fire, east of the fire, and north of Clear Lake.
It includes the following communities:
- Blue Lakes
- Upper Lake
- Nice
- Lakeport
- Witter Springs
- Bachelor Valley
- Scotts Valley
- Saratoga Springs
- Mid Mountain Road is closed to eastbound traffic at the Mendocino-Lake County Line/ Forest Boundary
*These areas were all previously under an advisory evacuation notice. Thursday morning the Lake Sheriff’s Office upgraded the evacuations to mandatory.
