SAN RAFAEL (BCN) — Fire investigators believe an electrical short in lighting likely caused the cause of a Thursday vegetation fire in San Rafael.
Firefighters responded at 11 p.m. to the rear of a residence at 43 Cottonwood Drive in the Glenwood area of San Rafael.
Responding crews were able to limit the spread of the fire to 500 square feet and put it out before it could threaten surrounding structures, firefighters said.
There were no injuries reported, and there was no damage to the home, firefighters said.
