An elderly couple is recovering after being attacked at their home Wednesday night in San Francisco’s Taraval District.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, a burglary suspect entered the home in the 100 block of Ramsell around 11:48 p.m.
Authorities say the male victim,74, was in the shower when the suspect struck him in the head with a blunt object.
The suspect then went into the bedroom and hit the 74-year-old woman in the head.
Both victims suffered lacerations to their heads and were transported to San Francisco General Hospital where they are in stable condition.
The suspect is still at large.
