(KRON) — The 29-year-old son of Mexican drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman has been freed after he was kidnapped last week in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, according to CNN.
Jesus Alfredo Guzman was kidnapped along with five other people by seven armed men.
Jesus is now in Sinaloa Mexico, CNN reports.
A high-ranking source inside the Mexican government told CNN he was freed.
El Chapo’s son was freed on Saturday, according to CNN’s sources.
