BRENTWOOD (KRON)—A Brentwood High School released a video Thursday honoring a police officer who helps protect their campus.
Through the DUDE. be nice project Brentwood police officer Mitch got a gift from Heritage High School students thanking him for everything he has done for them.
The project is designed to inspire people to show they are appreciative of others in a meaningful way.
Students made a video thanking him as well as signing baseballs with personal notes on them.
Officer Mitch plays on a baseball team with other police officers and the team is high-ranked, according to students.
They also got him free Miami Heat tickets since that is his favorite basketball team.
Officer Mitch received a signed Dan Marino jersey from when he played on the Miami Dolphins.
