SANTA ROSA (KRON/BCN) — Santa Rosa Public Works are advising drivers to avoid the area of College Avenue between North Street and Monroe Avenue in Santa Rosa due to a water main break early Sunday morning.
A fire dispatcher said a call came in at 1:59 a.m. reporting hundreds of gallons of water flowing into the street.
The dispatcher said no injuries have been reported and crews are on scene working to repair the line quickly and safely.
The rupture has closed the streets and a traffic detour will be in effect until about 12:00 p.m. Sunday, according to fire officials.
