SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The driver of the SUV that rear-ended a bus in San Francisco Friday morning was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

The first report of the collision between the SUV and a San Francisco Municipal Railway bus was reported at 8:58 a.m. at Bayshore Boulevard and Industrial Street, Muni spokesperson Paul Rose said.

The collision occurred on an inbound 24-line bus.

Seven people were injured, four of the injured victims were on the bus and three of them were in the SUV.

Three people suffered moderate injuries and four suffered minor injuries, all were transported to San Francisco General Hospital, according to San Francisco Fire Department spokesperson Jonathan Baxter.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
