SAN LEANDRO (KRON) — A driver was hospitalized after crashing into a light pole in San Leandro Wednesday morning, police said.
The crash happened around 7 a.m., when the male driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the pole in the area of East 14th Street and Estudillo Avenue, according to police.
The driver was alert when he was transported to a hospital, police said. More information on his condition was not immediately available.
The roadway is expected to be blocked until at least 8 a.m. while police investigate the crash.Bay City News Service contributed to this report
