NOVATO (KRON) — A man was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a road worker with his car in Novato on Monday, according to police.

The suspect reportedly yelled at the female construction worker when she stopped his car in a construction zone in the area of Center Road and Plaza Linda around 8:45 a.m, authorities said.

The suspect, 32-year-old John Allen Bee, then allegedly accelerated his car, hit the worker, and fled the scene, police said.
