A downed tree in Martinez has blocked Vine Hill Way Sunday afternoon.
According to the Martinez Police Department, the large tree fell in the 700 block of Vine Hill Way between Hidden Oaks and Dickson Lane.
The roadway is completely closed for an unknown time frame.
Drivers should avoid the area and take alternate routes.
