Dogs attack 4 people in San Francisco’s Dolores Park

Three people hurt after two dogs attacked them in San Francisco’s Dolores Park on Sunday morning, police said.

The attack happened at around 11:45 a.m. Police say three dogs were in a designated unleashed area when two of the dogs, one brown pit bull and one gray pit bull, attacked the other dog, an Ilhasapoo named Bloom.

Bloom suffered puncture wounds on her back. Bloom’s owners tried to break up the attack but also got bit by the pit bulls.

A man, presumably the owner of the pit bulls, left the scene. He is now considered a suspect, police said.

The man was last seen north on Noe Street. Officers searched the area but were not able to find him nor the dogs.

A 43-year-old woman, a Culver City resident, suffered bite wounds to her left hand. A 49-year-old man and 18-year-old woman, also of Culver City, suffered bites to their left hands

A 23-year-old San Francisco woman also got bit in her right hand.

Three of the victims were taken to the hospital.

Bloom was treated by a vet.

Police are still looking for the suspect.
