SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Commuters navigating the area surrounding Chrissy Field have seen major construction work taking place along the edge of the Presidio in San Francisco. We now have an idea of what the final product might look like.
Some of the new features being added to this area include a lawn, a cliff walk and a meadow.
“This is not a final design, but it is a milestone in the process toward a final design, which will be presented in September,” said Presidio Trust spokesperson Dana Polk.
There’s also a plan for additional elements like a new program facility, more overlooks, and a terrace. That, however would cost more than the budget can accommodate and would be up to tax payers to decide whether it’s worth it.
