COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A report of two children carrying a gun led to a tense moment for an officer and two young men.
Body camera footage released by Columbus police shows Officer Peter Casuccio talking to two boys, ages 11 and 13 about carrying a realistic-looking BB gun while walking down the street.
“Do you think I want to shoot an 11-year-old? Do you think I want to shoot a 13-year-old? Do I honestly look like the kind of dude who wants to shoot anybody?” said Officer Casuccio.
Officer Casuccio talked to the boys about what could have happened in this situation before bringing them home to talk to their mother.
