San Francisco’s Mission is famous for Mexican food.
But there’s one spot that’s anything but typical.
On Wednesday night’s Dine and Dish, bring your appetite as Vicki Liviakis takes us to the Michelin Star-rated Californios.
In addition to its Michelin rating, Val, the chef, has also been named a Rising Star Chef by Star Chefs and the San Francisco Chronicle in 2016 and one of America’s Best New Chefs by Food & Wine magazine last year.
For dinner on Oct. 26, Val is making Smoked Duck in Mole Manchamantel with Plantain Bread.
Vicki will be hosting the James Beard Taste of America Dinner on Oct. 26.
