Detectives investigating suspicious death of Antioch woman

ANTIOCH (BCN) — Police found a 46-year-old woman dead Saturday afternoon in Antioch from an apparent gunshot wound to the chest, police said.

Officers responded at about 12:20 p.m. to a home in the 1300 block of D Street, police said. The woman was pronounced dead in the home, according to police.

Police said the other residents in the home stayed and cooperated with officers.
