A 74-year-old American Canyon man has been arrested for having over 100 child porn images on his electronic devices, Napa County Sheriff’s Deputies said on Monday.
Deputies arrested Charles Tyler Kennedy on Friday. He is being held on $50,000 bail.
The investigation against Kennedy started in February. Investigators traced the IP address uploading the illegal files to Kennedy.
In May, deputies seized multiple computers and electronics from Kennedy’s home. Deputies found pictures, video, and internet searches related to boys and girls depicted in a sexual manner, authorities said.
Kennedy told police he’s the only person that used the computers at his home.
Kennedy also told police he was an instructional assistant at Napa Valley College and St. Helena High School.
