PORTOLA VALLEY (KRON) — The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a home invasion robbery that happened on Thursday night, deputies said.
At around 10:28 p.m., deputies responded to a call about a home invasion robbery on Valencia Court. The victim told deputies while he was standing on his front porch, he was approached by three African-American men.
The suspects all had guns, and they forced their way inside the home, deputies said.
The suspects then contained the residents, a couple in their 50s and a girl, to a bedroom, according to deputies. The men then ransacked the home and stole electronics and jewelry.
The suspects ran away in a white sedan. Deputies could not find the suspects after searching the area.
A male victim sustained minor injuries.
