Five Peninsula teens have been arrested for shooting replica airsoft guns into occupied cars, San Mateo County sheriff’s deputies said on Thursday.

At around 3:46 p.m. Thursday, Belmont police responded to the area of Alameda De Las Pulgas and Ralston Avenue on a report of a silver BMW with five people inside shooting at an occupied car. Police stopped the suspect car a short time later.

Officers found the five teens shot replica airsoft rifles at the victim’s car while driving on Crestview Drive and Club Drive in San Carlos, authorities said.

Deputies did not find any other victims.

The 18-year-old suspect has been identified as Noah Biggs, of Belmont.

The other four arrested are a 17-year-old Redwood City boy, a 16-year-old San Carlos boy, a 16-year-old Belmont boy, and a 15-year-old Belmont boy.

Biggs was booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility for brandishing, throwing a projectile at a vehicle, and conspiracy.

The boys were released to their parents, deputies said.

The investigation is ongoing, and police believe these five suspects are responsible for shooting at other cars and people on the Peninsula.
