Mendocino County fire crews are battling a new wildfire on Wednesday afternoon, Cal Fire said.
The Western Fire has torched 50 acres and is off Highway 101, south of Hopland.
The fire broke out just before 4 p.m. Wednesday.
MCSO has issued an EVACUATION WARNING for the area of MileMarker two (2) on S HWY 101 Hopland, East to Mendo-Lake Co Line, South to Mendo-Sonoma Co Line, due to fire.
