CASTRO VALLEY (BCN) — PG&E crews are on the scene of a crash that knocked out power for more than 2,000 customers early this morning, according a CHP dispatch.
At 1:31 a.m. the CHP reported a vehicle that collided into a utility pole on eastbound Castro Valley Boulevard just east of Jensen Road.
A spokeswoman for PG&E said as of 4:48 a.m. power had been restored to all but two residents in the area, and crews were working diligently to restore power as quickly as possible.
The CHP said there were minor injuries reported and a person was arrested.
One-way traffic control is in effect while crews work to repair the damage.
