A crash had closed northbound El Camino Real in San Mateo on Tuesday evening, police said on Twitter.
But at around 6:45 p.m., police tweeted the collision was cleared.
The closure was between Monte Diablo and Poplar.
Drivers were being asked to avoid the area.
