Country fried steak, cornbread, and mac n’ cheese? Yes please!
Cracker Barrel announced the opening date for its first Northern California location and second in the entire state — and we’re counting down the days.
On Monday, Aug. 20, the restaurant and store will open its doors at 1000 Howe Avenue at 6 a.m., according to KCRA.
The store announced earlier this year they were hiring about 200 full and part-time positions.
At last check, open positions include cook, host, server, and retail sales.
If you don’t know too much about Cracker Barrel, the chain is known for its take on Southern comfort food.
Even the ambience is set “Southern style,” with a front porch complete with rocking chairs as you wait for your table.
The Sacramento location will feature items from the Gold Rush and California’s agriculture and logging industries, according to KCRA.
The only other Cracker Barrel in California is located in Victorville. That location opened last year.
