WALNUT CREEK (KRON) — A victory for some Walnut Creek residents who wanted a convicted sex offender out of their neighborhood.

A judge ruled Charles Christman must go back to a state hospital for violating the terms of his release. A Contra Costa County superior court judge has revoked the release of convicted sexual predator Christman and sent him back to Coalinga state hospital for violating the terms of his release.

Christman had been living along Walnut Boulevard in Walnut Creek since February, and neighbors were happy to hear about the ruling.
