WALNUT CREEK (KRON) — A convicted violent sex offender is back in custody Monday night after allegedly violating his parole in the East Bay.
Seventy-one-year-old Charles Christman lived in Walnut Creek since February but now has been moved out of the neighborhood he was placed in.
KRON 4 has been following this story since the beginning of the year. Christman was convicted of sexually assaulting young boys back in the 1980s.
Christman is back at Coalinga hospital until he gets a hearing on July 13 on the alleged violations.
Contra Costa County’s assistant district attorney said she could not provide comments, pending the hearing.
