LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A construction worker was injured on the job Tuesday morning at the Raiders stadium site.
Clark County Fire Department responded to the incident which happened around 5:45 a.m. The department’s technical rescue team lowered the worker from an upper floor to safety so he could be transported to University Medical Center.
Project executive John Wood with Mortenson McCarthy provided the following statement:
“This morning at approximately 5:45 a.m., a construction worker on the new Las Vegas Stadium project required medical attention for a worksite injury. The worker was evaluated by the project’s onsite medical personnel and taken to an area hospital for further evaluation. The worker was alert prior to transport. Safety is our top priority on this and every project, and we will be reviewing the incident carefully. We appreciate the rapid response from the Clark County first responders regarding this incident.”
