CONCORD (KRON)—A dog stuck between two fences was rescued by Concord police officers on Sunday.

A resident reported to police that he could hear a dog in distress near Harrison Ave.

Officers believe the dog had been there for hours but were able to get him out safely.

The gray and white pit bull was not hurt and did not need medical care.

Animal Control took the dog into custody.

The pit bull was micro-chipped and Animal Control will try to return the dog to his owner.

The dog’s name is Kimbo. He was reported missing by his owner recently.

Kimbo has a tumor on his neck and needed to take his medication.
