Commercial fire in Palo Alto brought under control

PALO ALTO (KRON/BCN) — A fire at a commercial office building in downtown Palo Alto Sunday morning is under control according to fire officials.

Fire officials said at 5:42 a.m. the fourth and fifth floor of the building at 285 Hamilton Ave. were being ventilated for smoke and fire crews remained on scene.

Firefighters initially reported the fire on Twitter at 4:40 a.m. as a structure fire.
