SALINAS (BCN) — Police are investigating the armed robbery of a Salinas business last night.
Police said officers were dispatched at 9:01 p.m. to the 1100 block of North Main Street on reports of an armed robber.
According to police, two store clerks were present when the suspect entered the store and stole an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing in an unknown direction. Police said one of the clerks hid in the store’s bathroom during the robbery.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his mid-20s, thin build, last seen wearing dark clothing, a ski type mask, and armed with a handgun.
