The City of Berkeley is telling people who are living in their cars in the Marina that they need to leave.
Lydia Pantazes is there this morning, where she says police are coming to evict those living out of their cars.
The city posted a warning that if those living in their vehicles in the Marina do not move them by this morning they will be towed, fined, and impounded.
Most of these people were evicted from their housing in Berkeley or surrounding cities, or from long-standing, organized homeless encampments such as the Albany Bulb.
People are gathering to protest the eminent evictions.
