A woman driving on the wrong side of the freeway was arrested for drinking and driving Monday in Santa Rosa, according to California Highway Patrol.
Around midnight, 42-year-old Heike Kirchner from Napa was allegedly heading northbound in the southbound lanes on Highway 101 near Golf Course Ave.
A Sonoma County Deputy responding to the call found Kirchner exiting on Todd Rd. and pulled her over.
Officers discovered she was driving under the influence of alcohol and she was arrested.
Turns out Kirchner has a prior DUI conviction.
