PETALUMA (KRON/BCN) — The California Highway Patrol is seeking the public’s help to identify three people who were seen fleeing from the scene of a car crash on U.S. Highway 101 in Petaluma Friday.

At around 11:55 a.m., the trio was inside a black 1995 Ford Explorer when they allegedly caused a crash involving multiple vehicles in the highway’s southbound lanes at Petaluma Boulevard North, according to CHP officials.

The three fled the scene on foot before officers arrived. A witness was able to take pictures of the suspects.
