SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A flock of ducklings is back with their mom after being rescued from a storm drain near the Golden Gate Bridge.
Wednesday afternoon, officials with the Marin County branch of the California Highway Patrol were rescued from 19th Avenue, under the US 101.
After being notified about the little ducks, an officer with the CHP climbed into the storm drain to rescue them.
The ducks were reunited with their mom after being rescued.
Officials with the CHP said that this is actually fairly common, tweeting “this happens quite often this time of year. We get quite a few calls a week regarding ducks in the road.”
On Tuesday, firefighters with the Fremont Fire Department rescued a tiny kitten from a storm drain.
After being rescued, the kitten was adopted by the family that saw the kitten in the storm drain and called the fire department to have him rescued.
