VACAVILLE (KRON) — The California Highway Patrol and Vacaville police are investigating a crash involving a van transporting school children on Interstate Highway 505 early Wednesday morning.
The crash was reported around 8:46 a.m. on southbound Highway 505 right before Highway 80, according to CHP officials.
The van struck something and rolled off the roadway.
At the time of the accident the van was transporting Chico students who were on a field trip.
All children and adults have been accounted for and the van’s driver suffered minor injuries, police said.
The students were taken to the hospital as a precaution. Police continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
