WATSONVILLE (KRON) — One person died this afternoon in Watsonville, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP first reported the incident near the corner of Loma Prieta Avenue and Airport Boulevard at 2:24 p.m.
Airport Boulevard at Loma Prieta Avenue is closed and has been over two hours.
CHP says there is no estimated time as to when the roadway will be re-opened.
The cause for the fatality is not immediately clear.
The incident is still active and a corner is currently at the scene, a CHP dispatcher said.
