California Highway Patrol hopes the public can help locate the suspect vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run Friday night on Highway 4.
According to CHP, officers arrived at the scene around 7 a.m. Saturday morning.
Responding officers found a man’s body just off westbound Hwy 4 west of Bixler Road.
The suspect fled the scene in a Toyota Tundra or Toyota Sequoia in the 2002-2006 range.
CHP said the suspect vehicle could also be a Lexus.
The vehicle should have collision damage to the front right headlight or the headlight could be completely missing.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
