CHARLOTTE, N.C. (KRON/CNN)—19-year-old Ian Bowzer of Charlotte has been charged with damage to property in connection with doors kicked in at Hyatt House during Wednesday night’s protests, according to a statement from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
Bowzer was arrested on Thursday and is being held in the Mecklenburg County Jail.
He was seen on CNN kicking in glass doors at the Charlotte hotel during Wednesday night’s protests.
