SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Visitors are nothing new for the Bay Area, but one flight that landed at SFO Tuesday morning is full of visitors that many in the Bay Area have been awaiting for 40 years— the opposing team in the NBA finals.
The Cleveland Cavaliers arrived Tuesday, ready to take on the Golden State Warriors in the NBA finals.
This will be the Warriors first appearance in the NBA championship in 40 years.
The first game will be in Oakland on Thursday. Tip off is at 6 p.m. local time.
