CAUGHT ON VIDEO: Vallejo Uber driver T-boned with passenger in car

A Vallejo Uber driver and his passenger were lucky to walk away after being t-boned early Thursday morning.

Surveillance video shows a black Kia smashing into the side of Jerell Parker’s car and fleeing the scene.

“It happened too fast to be scared but it was a scary moment,” Parker recalls.

He said he was driving a passenger around 5 a.m. and trying to make a turn from Sacramento Street onto Missiipso Street when he was struck.

“You see videos all the time on Youtube or something, miracles of people surviving something they shouldn’t have survived,” Parker said. “To be one of those people is just crazy.”

The suspects were seen on video getting out of their car and running off.

Parker said, “It is what it is. I’m alive so I can’t complain.”

His shoulder and knee were hurt in the crash and his passenger also complained of pain in her knee.

Parker’s Honda Accord was left mangled.

He said it’s going to take a while for him to feel comfortable getting behind the wheel, let alone driving for Uber.
