WALNUT CREEK (KRON)—A car went into a Walnut Creek dry cleaning business Wednesday afternoon.

The incident was reported at the American Dry Cleaning on 2400 Olympic Blvd. around 2:30 p.m.

The owner told KRON4 one of her customers accidentally jumped the curb and drove her car a few feet breaking three windows and the door of the business.

The driver reportedly mistook the gas pedal for the brake, according to the fire department.

No injuries have been reported and the driver was the only one in the car at the time.

This is the second time someone has crashed into this dry cleaning business, said Janet Booth, the owner of the business.

The last time someone drove into it was 15 years ago, Booth said.

The CHP does not suspect the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
