CAMPBELL (KRON) — Police in Campbell are searching for two people suspected of trying to steal several cars.
It happened along Mitchell Court early Wednesday morning.
Police said the two suspects entered three unlocked cars and rummaged through the contents of each vehicle.
“After contacting the owners of the three vehicles, Officers determined that property was taken from two of them, including paperwork, money, and an iPhone. No damage was done to any of the vehicles,” public information officer Gary Berg said in a press release.
KRON has obtained surveillance video of the incident.
One of the suspects seen sitting in the driver’s seat appears to try and start the car.
After several unsuccessful attempts, they are seen leaving the area.
One suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his early 20s, wearing a dark-colored hoodie. He has dark hair, police said.
The other suspect is a white female in her late teens, with light hair. She was wearing a denim vest and hoodie.
