ALAMEDA COUNTY (KRON) — Alameda County fire responded to a 20-to-23-acre fire near the same area as Tuesday’s fire at Camp Parks, spokeswoman Aisha Knowles said Wednesday.
It happened at around 6:30 p.m. Knowles said it may have been two separate fires, but they are still investigating.
No structures were threatened, and it has been fully contained as of 8:40 p.m., Knowles said.
KRON 4’s Scott Rates is on-scene. Check back for updates.
This comes after Tuesday’s 250-acre wildfire. It comes at a time where triple-digit heat sweltered the Bay Area.
