LOS ANGELES (KRON) — One person is dead and several were injured in a shooting during the procession for the late rapper Nipsey Hussle, who was publicly laid to rest in Los Angeles Thursday.
Police Chief Michel Moore said via Twitter Thursday night that four people were shot in total and one person was killed.
The shooting occurred in the area of 103rd Street and Main Street.
The police chief said suspects in a grey Hyundai fired toward the four victims.
Police have not released any further information on the suspects or whether the department has made any arrests.
In the midst of this procession we have a multi-4 Shooting at 103 St and Main St.
Victims are 3 Male Blacks and 1 Female Black – ages from 30-50 years old. Tragically one is deceased.

Hussle was honored at a memorial at the Staples Center in Los Angeles earlier in the day where 21,000 people gathered to mourn the beloved artist.
Following the memorial, fans took part in a 25-mile procession through the streets of South Los Angeles.
