BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) – A stun gun didn’t get him, but a burglary suspect’s own dog did.
Police in California City responded to a burglary call Thursday at around 10 a.m. In the 8500 block of Catalpa Avenue.
Officers chased two suspects. They quickly caught Alvin Beverly in a nearby backyard, but Donnell Blakely ran after being shocked with a stun gun.
He jumped a nearby fence and ended up in another backyard.
It turns out, it was his own and his dog attacked him. Blakely was busted in his own garage and taken to a hospital for the dog bite.
