CLEVELAND (KRON)—The founder of an California-based anti-war group tried disrupting Donald Trump’s speech at the Republican National Convention Wednesday night.
Code Pink founder Medea Benjamin, 63, tried interrupting Trump’s acceptance speech, but was quickly taken away by security when she tried.
This is not the only time someone from the group has tried to stop someone at the convention from speaking. Several Code Pink members have been trying to disrupt the event at the Quicken Loans Arena.
One of the protests Code Pink had at the convention involved 500 tennis balls. After this incident, police banned tennis balls at the event.
