MARTINEZ (KRON) — The Contra Costa County coroner’s office has identified the woman killed by toppling gravel as 32-year-old Lindsey Combs.

Combs died Monday afternoon when a gravel truck overturned onto her car near the corner of Shell Avenue and Pine Street.

Martinez Police told the State Division of Occupational Safety and Health that somebody with JJR Construction had asked the pregnant woman to move her car.

As Combs was moving her car, the load of a truck filled with gravel fell onto it, crushing Combs inside the car.

CAL/OSHA investigators were called to the scene to look over the circumstances surrounding the accident.

In the past five years, JJR Construction was only cited once, for a minor violation in 2010.

According to Combs’ Facebook profile, Combs was a hairdresser who went to high school in Martinez.

She is survived by her 4-year-old daughter.
