SAN JOSE (BCN) — Utility crews Monday morning expect to complete the repairs on a section of water pipe that burst this morning in San Jose, a spokesman for the San Jose Water Company said.
The pipe burst near East Alma Avenue and South Seventh Street causing some ponding on one or more roads that was gone by 3:37 p.m., spokesman John Tang said.
Crews had also stopped the flow of water from the pipe by 3:37 p.m.
Repairs should be complete when two commercial customers affected by the break open for business Monday morning, Tang said.
