LOS ALTOS (KRON)—A bus crashed into a pedestrian Thursday afternoon in Los Altos, according to Los Altos police.
The collision happened around 12:30 p.m. at El Camino Real and Cesano Court, said Los Altos police spokesman Agent Steven Spillman.
Both the driver and the pedestrian might have not been paying attention, according to witnesses.
Police are still investigating what caused the crash, Spillman said.
The bus was driving west on El Camino Real, said Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority spokeswoman Stacey Hendler Ross.
The pedestrian was taken to Stanford Hospital.
No one inside the bus was injured, Spillman said.
VTA officials and Los Altos police are investigating the crash.
