MARINA (BCN) — Police arrested a man wanted for burglary Thursday afternoon, after an officer spotted the man in Marina.

Around 1:55 p.m., an officer was conducting a traffic stop in the 200 block of Reservation Road, according to police.

The officer spotted a man who he believed was wanted. A warrant check revealed the man was wanted on a no bail felony warrant for burglary, police said.

When the officer tried to contact the man, identified as 19-year-old Ronnie Smith, Smith fled on foot.

Several units responded to the scene and began searching a nearby trailer park, according to police.

After a search, the officer located Smith hiding in some bushes on the side of a trailer. He was taken into custody for the warrant and booked in the county jail, police said.
